Knox County Tennessee

Summer Dental Outreach

Our School-Based Dental Prevention Program also provides free dental services and education beyond the school environment. During the summer, appointments are available for ages 4-21 years old at the Knox County Schools Welcome Center, 535 Chickamauga Ave.

In 2024, these appointments will be offered from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 3-7, 10-14, 17-18, 20-21, and 24-28 at the Welcome Center. Appointments may include dental sealants, fluoride varnish, and silver diamine fluoride. Please call 865-215-5131 to make an appointment. Interpreters will be available.

Our team also provides dental education and supplies to before/after school programs and early childhood education centers in Knox County throughout the summer. Children at these centers will receive oral hygiene supplies and education based on grade level, which includes brushing, flossing, nutrition, mouth guard safety, oral cancer, sealants and fluoride varnish applications, dental check-up visits, and gum disease.

If you would like our team to visit your before/after school program or early childhood education center to provide dental supplies and education, please call 865-215-5772.
