Another Detroit Heroin Dealer Convicted

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Felony Drug Unit obtained convictions against a Detroit heroin dealer who sold drugs near Inskip Elementary. Sparkle Trenetta Jones, 36, was convicted of Sale and Delivery of Schedule I Heroin in a Drug Free School Zone. Judge Scott Green revoked Jones bond and set the case for sentencing on November 9 where Jones faces between fifteen and twenty-five years in prison....more

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens office obtained a sentence of life plus thirty-one years against a Detroit heroin dealer who shot a man in Bearden. At trial last month, Jaleen Genard Allen, 24, was convicted of First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, and Employing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. At a sentencing hearing today, Judge Scott Green stacked thirty-one years in prison on top of the mandatory life sentence imposed for First Degree Murder....more

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Major Crimes Unit obtained a conviction against a man who robbed a convenience store off Maynardville Pike. Tony Lynn Nix, 47, was convicted of Aggravated Robbery. Felony Lane Gang Operation Dismantled

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens White Collar Unit dismantled an entire cell of the Felony Lane Gang that came from Florida and was operating in Knox County and surrounding jurisdictions. Members of this cell included Lindsay Alex Rosenfeldt, 29, Demetrius Jamal Gunn, 28, Jarvis Letrey Lewis, 32, Weldon Jermaine Glinton, 33, and Joshua Chai Spicy, 43. In total, the members of the gang were convicted of fifteen felonies for Identity Theft, Theft over $2500, and Burglary of a Vehicle....more
