The Halls Senior Center located at 4410 Crippen Road is home to a state-of-the-art computer center, a billiards room with two regulation- size pool tables, arts and crafts room and a card/conference room. The center is nearly 10,000 square feet and has the largest multi-purpose room at any of the Knox County senior centers. This room has the capacity of seating 299 people. The center also has a large kitchen and three porches.
The center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The center's staff is always looking for teachers/professionals who have a gift or talent that they would like to share with seniors and who would be willing to give some of their time and talent to teach something exciting and new!
With nearly 1,400 seniors visiting our center each month, our schedule of events is growing fast. Programs at the center include Bingo, card games, dancing, health presentations, computer classes, craft classes, an overeater's anonymous support group and a wide range of special events for everyone to enjoy.
Please come by and let one of our staff members show you around! We look forward to seeing you!
