The John T. O'Connor Center is jointly funded by the City of Knoxville and Knox County. The center is operated through the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department and offers daily programming for citizens 55 years or older. Everyday activities include blood pressure checks, cards, billiards and horseshoes. Other activities available throughout the week include aerobics, dance and basketweaving.
