Millions Given to Knox County Through Dedication and Hard Work

Through the dedication and hard work of the his incredible staff, Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond presented another “Efficiency Dividend” check to Knox County at the February 21st meeting of the  Knox County Commission. The check was in the amount of $250,000 and represents a quarterly return back to the county after all expenses were covered.  The Knox County Criminal, General Sessions - Criminal Division and Fourth Circuit Court Clerk’s Offices have been committed and diligently working towards the Court Clerk’s vision statement and internal goal of cost-effectiveness. Since taking office, Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond has now delivered over two millions dollars to Knox County's general fund.
