Knoxville Family Justice Center Releases 2021 "Year in Review"

The Knoxville Family Justice Center has released their “Year in Review” report for 2021. The KFJC’s report details the services provided throughout the year for victims of domestic violence, including:

  • 100 Lyft Rides
  • 60 TracFones
  • 120 Grocery Card
  • 24 lock changes
  • 963 safety plans

“As Board President of the Knoxville Family Justice Center, I am proud of the tremendous work the KFJC does for our community,” said Knox County Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond. “Having an organization like the KFJC that co-locates different government agencies and nonprofit organizations into a coordinated and comprehensive response is paramount, so victims of domestic violence receive the help they need in the most expeditious and safest way possible.”
