Spring Softball for Adults --

The meeting will be Monday March 3, 2008 at 6:00 pm at the Public Defender's Facility, located at 1101 Liberty Street. The registration fee for 1 night of play $275.00. Money Orders, cash or checks accepted. Make checks payable to Knox County Parks & Recreation. Spring leagues will be played at the Knox County Sportspark, located at 8050 Oak Ridge Highway. Spring Adult Leagues to be offered are listed below.

NO EXCEPTIONS - Fees must be paid when signing a team up.

ASA & NSA Youth Leagues:

The youth softball Commissioners Meeting will be held on February 11th, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department Office. (Click here if you need directions)

Age Groups:

Up to 8 yrs.
9 - 10 yrs.
11 - 12 yrs.
13 - 14 yrs.
15 - 16 yrs.
17 - 18 yrs.
(Age as of January 1)

Sign-ups begin in February at various sites.

Annual Baseball & Softball Coaches Clinic:
A great turn out for this year’s Annual Knox County Baseball & Softball Coaches Clinic Saturday, March 8th. The event was conducted by the Doyle Academy, 98 baseball and 52 softball coaches were in attendance.  The clinic is provided free to all Knox County Baseball & Softball coaches, coaching within our programs.  With a Doyle Coaches’ Certification the participant receives, personal liability, hands on training techniques, organization tips and handouts, drill solutions, learn safety and first aid issues, speed and agility tips.

PLEASE NOTE: A Coaches Certification Program is MANDATORY for all baseball and youth softball coaches.
