KNOXVILLE (Aug. 16, 2012)  -- Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett and members of his staff met with U.S. Navy Vice Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr., in the mayor's office today. 

Navy Capt. Pat Piercey joined Vice Admiral Harris in meeting with Mayor Burchett, Chief of Staff Dean Rice, Knox County Veteran Services Officer and retired U.S. Army Capt. Robert "Buzz" Buswell, Knox County Human Resources Manager and retired Tennessee Air National Guard Col. Richard Julian, and Knox County Community Outreach Manager Jonathan Griswold.

During the visit, the group discussed various topics ranging from veteran services and Navy Junior ROTC programs, to UT Football and the War of 1812.
