CoverKids:
http://www.covertn.gov/web/cover_kids.html CoverKids is a low-cost comprehensive health plan for children age 18 and under and maternity coverage for pregnant women. Enrollment is presently closed.
AccessTN:
http://www.covertn.gov/web/access_tn.html AccessTN provides health insurance plans for uninsurable Tennessee residents. Applicant must be 1) a Tennessee resident for at least six months, 2) age 19 or older, 3) a U.S. citizen or qualified alien, and 4) uninsurable by medical or insurance determination. Applicant also must not have had health insurance for at least six months and have exhausted insurance continuation programs, like COBRA. There are no income or asset limits.
