Tim W. Greene was appointed to the Knox County Commission in January 2007. As a life-long resident of South Knoxville, Commissioner Greene possesses a distinct interest in serving the people of the 9th District.
Greene has been a volunteer firefighter with the Seymour Fire Department for 22 years and currently serves on their Board of Directors. He is co-owner of Betty's Florist, which has been in business in South Knoxville for 24 years.
Commissioner Greene serves on the Knox County Commissions Intergovernmental Committee and Beer Board, and is the Vice-Chairman of the Vacant Property Review Committee.
Tim and Sally Greene have been married 22 years. The Greenes reside at 7911 Davis Road in South Knoxville.
